We staged this Trendy Classic Model home with hints of Industrial design — wingback chairs were used as a throwback to original 18th century Thomas Chippendale chairs.
Living Room
The wingback chairs are a twist to the original ones from Thomas Chippendale back in the 18th century. They have a modified, more fluid, curvy back, and their silhouette is enhanced with a pale blue, black, and gray plaid pattern. These are definitely the focal point of this spacious room as the couch is simply just khaki and classic.
The oversized oil above the couch almost resembles a field and the sky with lots of clouds above it. We tried to mimic the picture by anchoring the room with a dark brown rug which almost resembles the exact colors and pictures in the painting.
