Cardinal Designs Sets a Contemporary Yet Retro Decor to Tampa’s Hottest Neighborhood

This typical 1920’s bungalow sold in no time (closed in 30 days!)

Located in one of the best neighborhoods in Central Tampa, it was fun to dress it up. We chose a contemporary yet retro feel for the decor. Staging really is all about showing off the best parts of the home and we feel we did that and more by adding some great little moments for the buyer to sit down and appreciate this beautiful home.

Living Room:

The minute a potential buyer walks in to this adorable bungalow they are met with an eye-catching contemporary, low profile couch. It is upholstered in light brown tweed and the skirtless design shows off the mid-century style legs. Two fluffy wishbone chairs adorn either side of the fireplace for a cozy feeling.

Dining Room:

Woodgrain blocking with patchwork of mahogany veneers create a distinctive look for the dining room. The Natural deer head hanging on the wall brings a whimsical element to the bungalow and the giant white letters make the home seem inviting.

We did some fun things to bring attention away from the blonde cabinets. We hung a huge bicycle on the wall (which represents the demographic and area well). In addition we hung some herbs from the rack to add a bit of culinary daydreaming for the buyer.
