Rebecca’s forte is creating spaces with personality! Her client wanted her vacation rental to be fun, retro, a little mid-century modern, a little playful, and most of all portray an attitude ofΒ “I’m on vacation.”Β To make the space really quirky, the Cardinal Design team handcrafted a hanging bed that will make the guest feel as if they are in a giant treehouse. Walking in the front door, the first thing that someone notices is the bright old-school Florida looking wallpaper. The bathroom in this particular home needed an update. Cardinal Designs removed the fiberglass shower stall and had the shower re-tiled in white subway tile with white octagon-shaped tile for the shower floor. Keeping with the non-traditional theme, a camel-colored grout. To make the bathroom whimsical Rebecca picked out a wallpaper that has all types of dog breeds on it. New carpet and fresh gray paint adorn this treehouse beauty that was done on a budget.
