Sleek, mid-century lines adorn this model home in the North Hyde Park area of Tampa. We used very simple colors for the furniture contrasted with jewel tones in the rugs and accent pieces. It turned out fantastic and this particular builder has almost sold out of his units. The model home was a hit. We hope to do more of these as it extends our creativity to the max.

Living Room

For the living room in this modern loft townhome in trendy North Hyde Park, we selected a tailored sectional featuring dapper, light grey upholstery with the feel of linen. The double-track arms, tapered wooden legs, and hand-built frame make it full of personality. We coupled this with two bold, clean, and contemporary chairs. Isn’t the indigo blue plush rug an amazing anchoring piece? We think so.

Equally important is the artwork we place in this room to create that ultra-cool look…we chose an oversized gallery-style picture of vintage sewing machines that adorn “The All Saints Clothing Store” in New York City. This creates interest and eye candy.

Dining Room

The oversized long walnut table has an industrial feel with thick black u-shaped legs and silver bolts. Playing on the industrial vibe, a weathered console table was placed next to the entrance. Lots of patterns, shapes, and layers are present in this vignette which makes it memorable and irresistible.

Kitchen

The mix of wood and steel in the stools brings a modern feel to the kitchen. The sturdy seats give guests the perfect place to enjoy quality time over a nice meal at the kitchen bar.

Bedrooms & Bathrooms

We chose contemporary lines in both of the bedrooms. For the master, we chose a natural sandstone finish and for the guest bedroom, we chose a bold, turquoise platform bed. Again a pop of color among the white comforter makes just the right, edgy feeling we were hoping to accomplish and the cactus picture pulls it all together.
